Although study continues, it may be postulated that “enriching” the blood with the Myogence formula of amino acids aids the exercising body in at least three ways. First, readily available substrates in the blood decrease the workload on the liver to otherwise produce them thus reducing caloric energy utilized by the liver during exercise resulting in more caloric energy available for activity.  Second, ready supply of amino acids and polypeptides as delivered by Myogence may facilitate skeletal muscle repair. More rapid skeletal muscle repair may provide greater skeletal muscle availability for strength and stamina related to activity as well as recycling muscle as energy supply. Third, substrates presented by Myogence appear to have a positive impact on cardiovascular performance. Studies have indicated numerous relationships between amino acids and cardiovascular performance. Some more intriguing studies have cited improved stroke volume and vascularization. Theories have been presented referencing positive impact on the “nitrogen puff” exchange and on symbiotic relationship between nutrient substrate availability and smooth muscle similar to that hypothesized related to skeletal muscle.

Clinical FAQ—
What are the clinical indications for Myogence?

Two important points regarding the development of the Myogence formula: 1) research team was well into cardiovascular nutrition intervention study and; 2) research team was intrigued by request to investigate nutritional alternative to anabolic steroids. From this perspective, the research team proceeded under the assumption that nutrient substrates and cardiovascular performance were fundamental, if not rate limiting steps, to optimal human performance as measured by physical exertion. The research team believes that the apparent effects of the amino acid profile may be the result of several physiological actions: i.e. bioavailability of amino acids in blood stream provide depot for at least cardiovascular, skeletal muscle, hepatic and neural system activity. There have been no reports to date of adverse effects regarding consumption of the Myogence formula. BNR, LLC is working in affiliation with The Institute for Lifelong Health and Activity (TILHA), to learn more about nutritional intervention strategies related to these systems as well as to the following clinical situations:

Geriatric Care

Cardiovascular Care
Diabetes
